Und dann war er da auch, der Char-Screen... Nach guten 45 Minuten war es dann auch soweit! Unser Charakter hatte eine neue Frisur... Blieb noch Bart, Gesicht, Haarfarbe, Größe und Klasse. Es sollte eine lange Nacht werden.
Da ich an obiger Stelle ein wenig übertrieben habe, blieben uns, statt 45 Minuten schon ein paar Sekunden mehr ersparrt und unser Char erblickte das Licht der Welt... äh, Allods!
Das ganze erinnert ein wenig an WoW, RoM, WAR, EQ und was es sonst noch an diesen Zeitfressern gibt.
Nach einem schönen Ladescreen fing es dann endlich an. Ersteinmal steht man völlig alleine, ohne jede Art von anderen Spielern in einem Raum, je nach Fraktion in einem Raumschiff (Imperium) oder in einem Schloss (Liga), und Spielt das Tutorial, welches sehr liebevoll gestaltet ist, durch. Nach der Einführung gehts natürlich in die richtige Spielwelt.
Und da fängt Allods Online an.
Das Imperium startet in einer Art Cybergoth-Welt mit ziemlich verrosteten Stahlwänden, engen Gängen und jede Menge Schleimigem Getier, die Liga in einem Wald.
Da sich meine Freundin zwischen kalten Stahlwänden und blauen Orks sichtlich Wohlfühlte, verkroch ich mich lieber in den Wald um... Holz zu hacken? Blümchen zu Pflücken? So genau weiß ich das jetzt auch nicht, da sich der Questtext sehr zäh entziffern ließ.
Nach ein Paar Raterunden, à la "Wer wird Millionär" und ein Paar toten Gegnern später, fing sich auch langsam an mein Questlog zu aktualisieren.
Es fängt langsam an Spaß zu machen!
Stufe 5 bin ich ja jetzt schon... cool... mir macht Allods Online jetzt doch mehr Spaß als ich mir das anfangs vorgestellt hatte!
